Also keep an eye out for Boost Barrels with faces.. the elusive Mimics will attack you out of nowhere if you get close. To get through the icy walls, break them down once all the enemies in your area are vanquished, and when you cross the Snowman's Bridge, try to do it when the Do Not circles aren't showing, otherwise the Snowman's breath will give you a snowman face and slow you down. The last spot at the end of this Stage has several Frost Giants and Trolls, and they will respawn once after you defeat them. Enchantress will also continually drop apples here in a virtual rain. Take advantage of this to knock your enemies out fast and hard. |
The one and only Enchantress Mission is a relatively easy one to do. The falling apples that Enchantress continually drops through both stages give you a strength boost and make your Power meter refill faster. Just be sure to get them before the bad guys, because it will also make THEM stronger. They want those apples so much, in fact, that they will frequently stop fighting and try to get to the closest one when new ones fall.
You start out in the Frozen Giant-lands of Asgard. Trolls and Frost Giants will stand in random clusters along the path and occasional waves of Frost Imps will fly in to annoy and try to swipe apples. None of them are particularly hard... the Frost Giants can knock you down, but unless you get surrounded, you'll be fine. |
Enchantress doesn't give you any apples to boost you, sadly, but she makes up for it by being fairly straightfoward. She's got a wide sweeping attack, but she makes it fairly obvious before she does it, and it's pretty easy to get behind her or jump over them. She won't touch you physically, so ranged only has advantage of melee in one instance... her circle that she can bring down on the heads of those around you.

Stage 2 takes place in the Fire Giant's tunnels, and is pretty much the same as Stage 1: Trolls, Imps, Barrel Mimics, and Giants who can knock you down, this time red instead of icy blue. Enchantress also continues the falling apples here, so take advantage of slow and distracted enemies to get them first and knock them out fast.
There are no icy walls to knock down here... instead the spikes that bar your way will drop as soon as all your enemies are gone. No Snowman Bridge here, instead you have narrowed passages with Barrel Mimics that you can't avoid. After the main cavern here, you'll teleport to an isolated platform that has a large group of Fire Giants and heavy apple rain. Keep golden in apples to knock those Giants out fast, but beware.. they will respawn once. |

Playing Tips
- Take advantage of the falling apples! Not only will they increase your strength, but they also make your stars refill faster.
- You can grab apples even if you're already affected by one (Still Gold). This keeps the bad guys from getting them.
- Enchantress is very good with the vocal and gesture clues. If you pay attention to what she says, you can dodge most of her attacks easily, no matter who you're playing with.
